Featured Aventurine Glass Shell Bowl Marked??

    This is a heavy (2.4 lbs) Gold Aventurine Glass Bowl with controlled bubbles. Measures 7" wide and 7" top to bottom. There is an incised P on the bottom. Is there a good site to find this mark?

    I think it's a very pretty Italian glass ashtray, the bubble type of texture is called 'bullicante', not sure which company or how old, but a good place to start looking for identification.

    IMHO I do not think that is a company/maker mark...

    Agreed, looks more like something that occurred accidentally while it was being made versus something purposeful such as a mark

    Not a mark.

    The shape is a scallop shell, which may help search.
