Axehead Old ?

    IMG_7793.jpeg I’ve had this axehead type thing for a few years now and I’ve had both Viking and Chinese axes but this one has me stumped .So looking my “friends “ at antiquers for some help.

    Sure would be good to have a sense of size, Bru...it appears to be crudely forged, ferrous, with the shadow of a nearly cylindrical haft-hole. Dimensions, por favor?

    Hi the size is 13 cms by 11 cms looks Eastern , brassy look with some verdigris signs in the deep grooves.Trying to find metal that looks damaged like this one with no luck.I have had artifacts from Japan , China , Africa and UK and Ireland etc . No luck identifying so far and thanks for looking.

    You can see from this the metal folded around the hole showing how it was constructed.
