Aynsley Buckingham China - Authentic Marking?

aynsley_buckingham_front.jpg aynsley_buckingham_back.jpeg I just purchased five coffee cups and saucers from a private vendor to complete my set of Aynsley Buckingham China. I am concerned about their authenticity because the maker's mark is not the same as the mark on my china. Also, the pieces aren't as heavy as the ones I already own.

aynsley_buckingham_front.jpg aynsley_buckingham_back.jpeg I would appreciate any feedback you could provide. For reference, my original china piece is the one on the far right, with the "29". Thank you

I don't know what your other mark is like but if it helps, this is from Godden's book of marks showing some of the Aynsley marks.

Yes, I am trying to research that very thing - whether the design changed slightly over time. I also noticed that while my tea cups have a high footing (shown on the left), the ones I received have a much lower footing and different handle (see photo). Buckingham Tea Cup.jpg . Again, a change over time? I am not well enough informed to know the correct answer. Thanks for your response!

I'm not aware of Aynsley being faked, that usually happened with the higher end stuff. IMHO, I see no reason to suspect yours. (Do you have other info on this? I haven't done a deep-dive on Aynsley and I always welcome being educated!)
I agree that patterns, shapes, and construction methods often changed slightly over time. My older Shelley dainty tea cup sets are thinner/more finely made than my newer ones of the same pattern. And my older and newer Royal Crown Derby Antoinette pattern items have slight differences. My old Royal Albert Serena set includes quite a few different tea cup/saucer shapes (ie: some footed, some not, etc.), some very similar to each other. It makes for some frustrations when I want to find more of a certain set!

Just wanted to add, since it hasn't been mentioned:

Your "original" piece shown has been marked for an old London merchant called James Leather Ltd., which later became Leather and Snook of Piccadilly, London.
Your more recently purchased ones have an Aynsley mark that includes "Est. 1775", which is likely a newer mark than ones that don't state that.
But all still looks "good" for Aynsley.

According to this, your original piece was made no earlier than 1934 (and IMHO, likely made in the 1930s, before Aynsley added the 1775 bit to their backstamp). Your other two saucers shown were made in 1952 and 1953 respectively (calculated from the "28" and "29" printed on them).

Can't add anything to the info Bluumz has given other than to affirm that they're all Aynsley.
