B. Culp enamel piece. Would I call it a "planter"?

    Got this cool Barbara Culp enamel/copper piece last weekend. For listing wasn't sure what to call the form. (Roughly 7" high, solid on the base.)

    Bowl? Basket? Container? Planter? Any descriptive words come to mind? Thanks.

    Fourth photo, as is, looks as if it were done by an Andrew Wyeth acolyte. :)

    I think folded down piece is more of a decorative feature. Not a spout, per say, but could be used as such maybe. I am thinking planter-like item. If you had a small plant inside a ceramic pot, could set it in this. (And maybe pour out any extra water as suggested.

    cachepot ? maybe the fold is an exit for ivy ?

    Given that it's metal, I would not think appropriate for something planted directly in it. Cachepot would be okay, though.
