Bakersfield College Class ring ID?

I was hoping someone would be able to tell me about this ring i found.Not old 1998. There is no maker on the inside, Marked G 3 only. On the one side is says marketing? And the script writing on the stone that i can't make out either.I want to sell this but know nothing about it. i did contact the college but to no avail so far.

The letter on the stone is a Gothic font B? Or is there something else there that I can't see?

Odd that the marking is so meager.

What I get out of it is it is a ring representing a BA degree(BA Mark on stone) in Marketing from Bakersfield College in California. Class of 1985 or 1998. Not sure what the 85 or 98 mean.
