balinese puppet age please

howdy was hoping someone (probably any) could tell me if this puppet has any age at all and what is the head of chris

 

It is a Wayang Golek puppet from West Java. I think 1960s.
Somehow everything from Java and Madura gets labeled Balinese.

Certainly. Here in The Netherlands it would be between 25-40 euros. And we have a lot of them, through the colonial connection.

Always a search to identify Wayang characters, there are so many, and every little detail is important. But I found him, it is Brahma, the creator. He is present in most theatre sets.
The Javanese Brahma differs slightly from mainstream Hinduism. He is perceived to be the son of Shiva, and husband of Dewi Saraswati. He is equated with Sanghyang, the old Javanese supreme being, and with Agni, God of fire. His fierce, red face makes him more like Agni.
