Anybody have any baseball stadium postcards? They are my latest collecting rabbit hole I've been exploring recently. They seem to be exceptionally popular probably due to their broad appeal to several subsets of collectors, including baseball/sports collectors, local history collectors, and postcard collectors.

Below is a really interesting website that has some good information on Red Belt postcards published by the Morgan Stationary Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are a very challenging, elusive, and fairly expensive set of postcards published in 1907.

Baseball cards really seem to sell well too, so for all of you pickers be on the lookout for them and maybe check out eBay's SOLD listings for more info. I might be going to a few local sports collectables shows too in the future to see if they have any postcards that fit my requirements.

Any thoughts? Would love to get a discussion going about baseball related postcards and have a few of my own baseball stadium themed postcards to post hopefully tonight.

    Thanks,
    Joe

As always, we recommend checking out Net54baseball [ https://net54baseball.com/ ] and their memorabilia subforum -- several avid and knowledgeable collectors of baseball postcards reside there.
Actually, there's a whole gigantic thread (almost 1,400 posts) on baseball postcards in their main forum [ https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=161413 ], although you may have to be signed in there to see the pics.

Those are a really nice half dozen you've shown here. We collect stadium postcards ourselves, but we've got nothing older than 1960s vintage and have zero expertise in that niche of memorabilia.

Very nice, Joe! I don't have any, but do like baseball and the history of the ballparks.

A few more stadium cards, both of the old Municipal Stadium in Cleveland torn down in the 1990's. Hosted both the Indians and the Browns (NFL) and had a capacity at times in excess of 80,000.

Here is a recent pickup that put dent in my pocketbook. It is of an early baseball stadium in Cincinnati where a mound visit in the infield is taking place. Postmarked 1908.
