Basket ID?

Hi again. I got this basket at an antique show a couple years ago and otherwise don’t know much about it. I have been reading up, in books and in old posts here, but I just can’t get an ID on this. The material in the basket looks different to me than other NA baskets, but I’m going around and around. Thanks for any help or advice!

 

I think it's trying to look like a Panamint basket......

If I were Taupou, I'd want to see the bottom.

Possibly Seri, but the stitches look like a softer material than their traditional torote (Jatropha cuneata).

 

Here’s the bottom. The basket is pretty rigid and strong: it could support some weight. But the material inside the coils is multiple individual strands, not a single solid piece.

 

Def looks like an imitation Panamint is the answer. Thank you!
