I would be very impressed if anyone knows the answer to this.
About 40 years ago an owl in striped dark/light glaze was shown on the roadshow and it sold for a huge amount of money.

A few years ago a guy went on the show with a bowl out of the same material and he said he new what it was as soon as he saw it , he got it for about £400 because nobody else bid for it.

He said at the time he had heard of a 3rd object made out of the same material that has never been found.

Does anyone know what that 3rd object is.

His owner bought her council house with the proceeds.

I'm not sure on that third object bit: whilst Whieldon Ware isn't common, there's more than three bits of it. ;)

If it's the Ozzie owl you're thinking of I believe it's Staffordshire slipware. Here is a link to the British Museum and their mention of theirs plus two others if that's what you think might be meant by three.

A similar owl jug brought to light on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow in 1990 is now in the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery (1990 P432) - see Barker & Crompton 2007 p75.
Another is in the Longridge Collection of English Slipware and Delftware - entry S81 on p142 of Leslie Grigsby's 2000 catalogue.
