Any ideas on these beads please :)
Are the brown carved ones likely agate?. Not knotted.
The green ones have a slightly Quartz looking structure inside, together with speckles and some have a pink hue. Knotted inbetween
    No clasps to help me!.
    Thankyou for looking :)

The spherical beads look like various colors of quartz: colorless; rose; green aventurine or moss agate.

I am afraid I'm with Bronwen on this one, definitely caramel corn.:pompous:

Did you test the beads? Or is Mary being contrary again?

I'm officially designating it as Cracker Jack jasper.

Mary refused to even get out of bed. She's the most temperamental piece of equipment I've ever come across. Sometimes she works but more often she just screeches metal detect where there is none or tests thin air and declares its glass. Worst money I've spent and wish I'd bought the analogue one. Have to save up for it.

Can't find any chips but there are about 200 beads and with so many different colours its difficult to spot. If I find a chip I will take a pic.

The pink and green ones were a classic early to mid-1980s color combo. Sometimes you'll see pale yellow or blue lace agate in with them, but the oldest strands are pink and green.
