Featured Beaded flapper necklace, do we think proper age?

    This thing is gorgeous. The bead work is intricate and beatifully done. Not sure the photos show off the glass beads well enough: they're a great sparkle and clarity. It's on a cotton or maybe sillk thread, which makes me think it may even be actual 20s or 30s. Thoughts please?

    It's a bead weaving necklace. Most of them are Southwest Souvenir pieces, but this one looks like an oldie, straight flapper.

    It's definitely a necklace, it sits properly. The work is superb, it really is.

    Sautoir! Thank you: that's the word my addled brain needed. It's nicer than quite a few of them too. Interesting how many are attributed French, I'd half wondered if it was. Dunno why.

    I think this will end up as display, not wearing - it's terrifyingly delicate.
