I’m not sure what to think of these moccasins. With the figural beading and pink felt lining, I’ve not seen another pair like them. They appear to have some age to them - any ideas about when they might date to?

From the side view, it looks like the soles are an added layer of a different material, and I don't see any stitches. Perhaps a glued on repair?

If you look on the inside, and under the cuff, is the leather "suede" on both sides, or only on the exterior?

I think the sole is stitched in a way that hides the stitches so that they aren't subject to wear.

Thanks, Komokwa. They appeared yesterday at a local antique shop. They are quite small, for a girl for sure.

The inside is all lined with pink felt, so it’s tough to see if there’s suede underneath. The soles, however, do appear to be a different leather attached to the bottom of the moccasins, probably with glue.
