Featured BEAUTIFUL 1974 Watercolor? of Bicyclists on Country Road - Help w/Signature?

    My daily thrift store find - and a beaut in my humble opinion! (though my collection of 12-15 vintage road bikes might be a influence!)
    But I can't make out the signature for the life of me!
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    PS - This is a watercolor, right? I had a 2nd thought that it might be a pastel, but looking closely I'm pretty sure it is a watercolor (which make the details all that harder to create no?)

    its a watercolor but the signature is so faded out its impossible to read

    I thought it was a F.
    It does remind me of Breaking Away!!
    I was sure the artist was listed; it is so hard to make watercolor look this detailed (but what do I know - I usually pick out factory paintings and thinking I scored! lol
