    Hello again
Here is a table I inherited from my Grandmother that lived in Southern California however traveled the world collecting items, art, furniture etc. So I have no clue where this piece of furniture came from. It is beautiful with a total of 4 locking
drawers (2 on each length side) with the key. I can not find a name any where on it. Do any of you know any information about this piece? I don't even know the wood type. Sorry.

    Thank you in advance :)

    It is pretty, @Karahbell

I'd call it Tudor style or Tudor Revival... popular in the 30s

@verybrad @James Conrad can be more specific, or correct me if I'm way off.

Wonder what it was used for - drawers on both sides, so it's not meat to set against a wall, and doesn't look big enough to sit more than two people.

Yeah, or jacobean revival, popular in 1930s.

It's quarter sawn oak with some nice figure on top.

No, i don't think so because the X stretcher would not allow legs to move.

thought it might be a draw leaf of some design.

I’m curious about the value of this table. Do you know where I can find true comparisons? Thank you

Not a clue on value, not a lot that's for sure as old furniture prices are mostly down these days.

    It is pretty.

It resembles some 1920s era Jacobean Revival furniture I have. Agreed that retail prices aren’t particularly high. Check out Angelus furniture and you’ll see what I mean.
