Glass is heated in an oven then dipped in water causing the "crackle" glass effect. Did that to a few glass insulators back in the day.

My problem was that I was suddenly getting notified of everything, and I basically wanted no notifications. I had to go in and turn everything off. Sorry to hijack your thread.

I would try to sell before donating. There is no problems with the holes being the same as the glass is clear and you can see what is in each shaker.
