    mad elaborate it is, i'm not sure either as their looks like 2 colours going on, with the black being added

    lovely though. but would expect it to be the same inside and out

    Thanks Aaroncab.

    The Facebook Yixing Teapot ID group came up with the same signature name Xu, Hui. 2 people say this is stone, but the few nicks it has shows that it is not stone. You can see the makeup of the clay. But thank you everyone for your help. I did send pictures to Sothebys because it is so different, but I am not holding my breath. 1 person on the FB group thinks this is not more then 50 years old and possibly never used for tea. Maybe this is a presentation item?
