Featured Black and white picture

    15 inches high and 22 inches long. Some age, maybe 1980s when it was framed, judging by the older phone code. I’m at a bit of a loss as it’s not really a painting, because there is texture in the white area.
    Is it scraped out from black ink? I haven’t taken it apart yet in the hope someone here might know how it was produced. Thanks

    I've never seen a scratchboard that big; in the USA they're generally sold for children.
