Black Clay Pre-Colombian Tripod w/ A Tail! Cup?

Hi all, so, I have had this little tripod black clay cup? in my collection for a few years and had kinda forgotten all about it until I had to start packing up my house for a move. It’s definitely old, has a very pleasant weight and smoothness to it, and my guess on it is that it’s some sort of cup or drinking vessel. The little tail hooks over your hand and the body cradles nicely in your palm.

can someone take a look at it and maybe help in more information about something like this? What is it? Pre-Colombian? Did it have a lid? I always thought it looked like maybe there might have been a lid?

Doubt it to be 'pre-columbian' tho. Doesn't look to ever have had a lid.
Looks like a souvenir to me. Please wait for the opinions of other members.
