Black metal pendant with silver inlay

This is made from black metal, non-magnetic, and has what looks like silver metal inlay. The leaves at the 3 corners and the little round dots are carved around their outlines.
Any thought as to age/origin? Thanks!

 

Check it with a magnet,can't tell from the photo if the silver metal is inlaid or an overlay like Damascene.

It is not magnetic.

They make inlaid pieces like this in India, or similar anyway.

 

Not sure what they were doing.What color is the metal were the silver has fallen out?It's strange that the area around the dots is crudely dug out and saw marks around the outside edge,maybe it was a beginner or student who made the piece.

 

I think the Indian ones are zinc or other white metal that's been blackened. It's inlaid with another metal.

 

It's Bidri Ware from India. Tourist piece I'd suspect.
