Featured Blenko? clear glass spitoon? vase w/ blue hand tied bow

I saw this ID'd on eBay as Blenko, but wanted to get a more reliable confirmation. The pontil looks right to me BWDIK.

It is 6 1/8" to the top edge & 6 1/4" across the top.

I could be way off on this, but I don't think a clear spittoon would be a big seller!

That one looks as if there is an actual bow, but mine is just crossed.

I did look at one site, but it wasn't much help. I didn't realize there was a site with the catalogs.

I found it in their 1999 & 2000 (page 17) catalogs. It looks like it is #9912.

HAHAHAHA!!!!! What you're showing IS very pretty in color, but a CLEAR spittoon is NOT something on my GOTTA HAVE list or that would EVER darken my door!!!! Blenko, Waterford or Whatever!!!

 

I think I will eliminate that word from the title.

I think it was a pretty good GW find especially at $2.21 with my senior discount & it is perfect with no damage.

 

Rosebowl or ivy bowl, or just plain vase are keywords that would apply IMHO

 

I was thinking on the lines of wavy edged vase.

The spittoon word came from the couple I found on eBay, but I saw no mention of the word in the catalogs, so I will stick with using their item number.

 

Yeah, Blenko rarely put names in their catalogs, just their catalog number.
