    I don't know much abt glass & this could be a student piece,but for $3-why not ?
    The basics-5 1/4" high/weighs 3 lbs/ 1/4" thick at rim/ ground base/flecks of sand or grit in the glass /no signature.Any guesses on maker or age ?
Thanks as allways for any info.

Usually a sandy bottom like that indicates Chinese manufacture, but this one is a puzzle. Seriously nice whoever did it.

My Lady thought it a nice student piece, but it's pretty little thing & heavy as a bowling ball ! I do like the iridescence & bubble explosion.
It'll make a nice little votive in the john/loo.
PS-Thanks for the Chinese sand tip.
