The silver plated lid is marked for Israel Sigmund Greenberg around 1880.
The porcelain pot has no marks except for the gold dashes on its base. They fit together well but I have no idea if they started out life together. Everything about this pot tells me it's old though - but I know almost nothing.
As always, any help is much appreciated.
