blue and white asian figurines, any ideas on these marks?

    These are modern 'antiqued' (covered with dirt) items with modern marks. Maybe you can find them on Gotheborg's 20th century marks, but they could be more recent than that.

    yeah that's kind of what Im thinking. These are not Brown etched or whatever they call it when the mark is dark colored?

    Simply dirt, applied to fool international buyers. It is something I saw from ca 2000 on, but it could have started earlier.
    You can wash it off, btw.

    Antique Chinese porcelain is rarely dirty, only if it comes from a very dirty home with mud floors, which is extremely unlikely.
