    Very pretty glaze on this old pitcher. It's heavy and big: 8 1/2" tall and about 6 1/2" diameter at the middle. The entire pitcher, including the interior and the base, is glazed in white with the blue and brown/black glaze over it. Darker in person. My pics are a bit out of focus - my apologies.
    Any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Did you by chance get this from the same place as the Ohio Dog?

    Then I think I would ask Crocker Farm about both pieces.

    Any other pottery pieces from the same place?

    How did you arrive at Crocker Farm (figuratively :))?

    I followed the whole dog thread and don't remember seeing that...

    Nice pitcher @aaroncab!

    I acquired these pieces at an auction. The dog and this pitcher were not in the same lot and mixed with all types of pottery and glass, from new to antique. I've no idea if they were originally from the same location. I've contacted Crocker Farm about consigning the dog, so I may ask about this piece as well. Unfortunately, there's a hairline on the rim, so it may not be desirable even with a proper ID. I have a weakness for old pitchers :happy:

    Ok....skip this and go to the next post where it is identified:)

    Well...nothing helpful at this point I'm afraid. I've seen this pitcher before and I even think I've seen a discussion about it (guessing it was once upon a time on ebay but don't really remember). Unfortunately I don't remember if it's been ID'd either:(.

    I did find another but they don't know who made it but think it's probably Brush McCoy. But then they go on to say maybe Roseville or Weller. I did pull out my McCoy (don't have a specific Brush/McCoy), Weller and Roseville books but didn't see this design though always possible I just missed it or it might just not be in my particular books.

    @ascot
    Again, I like yours better than the others found. The blue coloring is much more attractive to me than the greens and browns.

    Y'all are amazing! I always thought Nelson McCoy, not J W, did the early stuff. Learn something new here all the time. Thank you!!!
