I bought these plates (I actually have 2) on a hunch, but I need help in confirming or disproving that hunch.:happy:

The scene reminded me of the Blue Willow pattern. I thought the use of the different shades of blue was interesting. The design is all underglaze. There are no marks that I could find. They are 9 1/4" across.

Thanks for any & all advice or opinions!!!:kiss:

They appear to be Canton Blue Dinner plates. Probably late 1800s, or made to represent late 1800s.

I can't tell if they are old from the pictures.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

@bercrystal, Am I the ONLY one who sees an “angel” with small wings, a full skirt and maybe a kind of a halo on the back of this plate????? No editing except to try to bring it out more with contrast!!

Edited with larger image.....with this one I tried to dull down some of the "bright" shiny spots........
