I purchased these books at flea market View attachment 290187 are these books worth anything? any feed back would be appreciated please and thank you

To help you with your books we need to see the title page and the copyright page (on the reverse of the title page), which will (usually) show the publisher and date of publication. There have been many editions of the books by Melville, so to find comparisons we need the publication information.

 

Melville's first book, Typee, was first published in 1846 by John Murray in London, and a few months later by Wiley and Putnam, New York. Your 1847 copy is thus a "later printing", but still early enough to be of significant value. Prices listed on abebooks.com range from about $100-$500, depending on condition and type of binding. The bindings on yours are not the original 1847 form. They look like they were rebound in the late 19th century, and would be described as "3/4 leather with marbled boards".

Omoo was first published in 1847, so your 1861 copy is a later printing.
