Bought a Silk carpet from tongeren antique market. Sadly, I cant tell the origin.

    Hello everyone!

    Last sunday I bought this silk carpet and it is really pretty and shiny. What i like to know is what kind of carpet it is? Persian, indian, chinese, turkey etc. I cant really tell. It could even be monglian.

    Hope someone has some expertise in this field.

    It is a Persian or Afghan hunting scene carpet.

    Doesn't look very old to my inexpert eyes, but best wait for the others.

    Well, its 96cm Width x 147cm Height. Depending on your breadbox it should be bigger :).
