Hi all I found this handmade wood box 12" x 8" x 4" I am not sure if this is an old box or much newer. I couldn't find anything on the blind cabinet maker either.
I thought maybe someone here might know who he is or was. What type of wood (I was thinking mahogany) and age hopefully.

It is mahogany. Would think post-WWII to maybe as late as the 60s.

Here's (only) a press snippet that appears to refer to maker.

He got a fair amount of press mentions.

This from the May-June 1973 issue of Scouting.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?
