So Lillei just won this lot labeled “jewelry and costume jewelry and if I can get some opinions they would be great to share with her(makes me the hero ). My curiosity is in the stone, it kind of resembles a dragon or perhaps a rat might it be amber? And the carved black wood. It’s on its way and scheduled to arrive next week. Auction photos

‘jewelry is my own achilles’ heel in knowledge, as while I have accumulated some over the years I never wear jewelry, aside from a few prized watches that I haven’t had to wear either since the birth of the hand held smartphones.

 

Is it lightweight and warmish to the touch?
It looks like Sumatran blue amber, I can see some specks of blue in the second pic. Shine a UV light on it.

Yes, it does. If it is Sumatran amber it is a Naga Mas (Golden Dragon).

 

Or somebody smashed a cheetoh in it. lol.

 

Or poured a mocha cappuccino and didn't stir. I look at that and hear Carl Simon - "I had some dreams; they were clouds in my coffee. Clouds in my coffee." If that's amber it's a CHUNK.
