Featured Boy with skis figure - possible Tosin?

I purchased this figure from a yard sale and was wondering if anyone can identify the maker.
I have found some figures online that are similar by Italian maker Tosin 1930's. Most of these figures have bases with the signature.
I am wondering if this figure may have lost his base.
Any help greatly appreciated.

 

Welcome, Passionfruit. It is a really charming figure, but people will want to see more photos, also of the soles of the feet to see if it is missing a base.
And could you give the size?

I googled "tosin figurine 1930" and many ski figurines came up. The faces on many look much like yours. Welcome to Antiquers!

Hi @Passionfruit and WELCOME!!! ANY chance you can get a better and CLEARER image of just the one foot that I'm showing, that I've enhanced a bit....it says something, but I think I'm just getting a partial bit of it........it's too muddled for me to read what it says along the rim, but along where I have the arrow it seems to say "C or K"ARIS....and something under that.....NOT sure if it's relevant or not, but it IS impressed into the figure......
