Here's one that I think is right up @Any Jewelry 's alley. These appear to be silver (unmarked). Previous owner silver-polished the base area of one of them, and a few crystals have gone missing. Plus one has been damaged probably by being bent too much (I included a pic of that area since I find that damage is often the best clue of how something was made). But I still really like these and would love to know what they are, when they were made, and where?

Beautiful, Jeff, and absolutely Indonesian. They are worn by (Central) Javanese aristocracy as part of the wedding attire:

Silver mesh with solid silver tips.:) One of the tips has been polished, as Jeff mentioned.

But, @Any Jewelry, in the "4th image close-up" down, doesn't it look like some sort of skin--where it's damaged?????

@Any Jewelry, can you tell us the proper name for these bracelets?

I think this is what has people seeing "skin":

I'd have to check and hope I find out. But as a working title: Gelang Naga, which literally means Naga (dragon/snake) bracelet in both Javanese and Indonesian.;)
Oops, I thought Aqui meant snake skin, since she mentioned it in her first post. The silver tips have a snake skin texture.
I don't know what the material inside the mesh is, maybe Jeff can tell us?

:jawdrop: This does look suspiciously like something used to live in this 'skin'!. Beautiful and interesting....from a distance.
I dearly hope it hasn't got real (once was) live snake in it.
