Hi could anyone help with identifying this lamp. There are no marks that I could find. It looks like brass or bronze, from the mission/arts and crafts era.

    What do you think?

That base may be but that shade in no way started life with that base. Is there a felt pad on the bottom ? If so,it might be covering who made it. Can we see the bottom ?

Yes I realize the shade is not antique.
No markings or coverings on bottom.

It would still help us to see the bottom .

That hobnail shade style and fitter are typical of "student lamps." Kerosene and later electrified. If you google that term, you'll see examples. The typical variety had two shades.

The light bulb holder may not be original to this lamp. It's older, but the wooden pull strikes me as a bit odd for this type of lamp. The set screw on it has obviously been replaced.

As mentioned, could be a marriage of parts...

I wouldn't be surprised to find out the shade is Fenton.
Fenton made a lot of glass for other companies.
    It won't be marked.

Can't help but... Isn't that an attractive lamp? So curious as to what original shade would have looked like. Given era, it would have been stained, no?

Don't know who made your lamp but doubt it is by one of the well known makers.

Might have had a dome shade such as this...…
