Brass Buddha with Stuffed Base (unknown origin)

Hi All,

This Buddha is part of my dad's collection and will appreciate if anyone could provide any further information. The base has been stuffed with some type of sand.

Not very sure of the age or if it's even antique. Thanks in advance

Width: 7cm
Base: 14cm

 

weighted to lower the centre of gravity so that it doesn't topple over. sorry that's all i got

 

Positively, that is the most cheerful Buddha ever made!
