brass candlesticks.

    brass 8" tall with no mark. can someone tell me about the design and when they were made?

    To me at least, they look somewhat middle-eastern. Perhaps sorta like Indian-influenced? I dunno. They're certainly not European, that much I do know. Or at least not European in style.

    Would think India and appear to have some age to them. Maybe mid 20th century, give or take

    I have a pair of antique Indian brass candlesticks that would match these in decor, not shape. I know that they are at least 1940s because that's when my mother got them.

    These were made in Kashmir, India. The style is called Indo-Persian.
    Kashimiri enameled brass and bronze is still being made, but these are older, I think pre-1950s.
