Any idea on the relative age of these candlesticks? They are about 5 pounds each. Thanks!

Bases look like they've got a soldered plate on them. Is that correct?

    Hi,
I think they are from India. I have a matching very heavy brass ashtray.

Even tho they are not old old, people do buy them for use at weddings and showers. Brass candlesticks are hot in lots.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

You didn't mention the height, but they seem very heavy at 5 pounds each!

Figtree3 you are correct! My mistake -- the sticks TOGETHER weigh over 5lbs -- they are about 2 lbs 9 oz each. And they are 5 3/4" tall.

They would probably maybe fit into a medium flat rate box????
