I've tried every keyword I can think of and couldn't find anything like this. The face has horns so I'm assuming it is a devil. Any thoughts as to age or origin are appreciated. Thanks, Joe

I would call it a libation cup and think it probably depicts a satyr.

A little research has brought up the term rhyton. It is described more as a drinking vase but I see some using the term for those with handles as well.

This thing is going to be nightmare to date. I'm seeing a lot of them with handles, some dating back over 2000 years. http://www.pinterest.com/leskappes/rhytons/

Any thoughts based on the patina? I'm thinking it bronze instead of brass. Thanks for the help, verybrad.

The pictures are so confusing it is not really possible to get anything from them.
Strive for clarity and focus, not clutter.

Although generally Roman in origin, reproductions are common.
