Brass Fitted Wooden Box

    image.jpg This was a tag sale find that has stumped me for some time now. The brass work and rivets led me image.jpg to believe it could be antique, but I was turned off by the flathead screws that affix the hinges. Can anyone give insight as to this piece?     It appears to have lost two internal dividers and a lower internal false base. Rosewood like this was popular in the mid 19th C, which is when I think your box was made, and it comes in the general class of 'campaign furniture' or more generally, travelling stuff, because of the flush handle and brass reinforcement.
