Brass Ornament

    a2.jpg a2.jpg a3.jpg a4.jpg a5.jpg a6.jpg I am not sure exactly what this is.
    It measures 7x6 inch
    It is heavy Brass
    It maybe a Stirrup or a Napkin holder or something else.
    Does anyone really know what this is and about how old it is

    Don't know what it is for but the actuall crude brass casting has such rough/primitive grinding marks and weak details on the ends with the birds that it looks like something mass produced from India.
