Brass & turquoise beaded necklace, India?

Can't find anything quite like it in my searches. Any thoughts greatly appreciated, thanks No clasp, just tied cording. About 23" long. Hasn't been cleaned yet.

Absolutely Indian. I have several pieces made of that chopped up turquoise set in silver coloured wire. Mine is mostly 1960s. I like it - give that a rub with a Sunshine cloth and it will look splendid.

 

Agree. I remember these in the 1970's in stores. Probably available in the 60's as well.

Not sure of keywords to use if selling. I found this one (not beads but a pendant) on Ebay, but seller wasn't sure how to describe either.

I didn't have a sunshine cloth but had some jewelry polishing cloths, and polished each bead, but they didn't brighten up as much as I thought they would've, but still look better, I need to order some sunshine cloths, thanks for the tip Bear. Here's a new pic
