    If you ever run into those old brass ornated buttons, ment for civil or military uniforms, please contact me.
    There must be like millions of different paterns worldwide.
    Schools, railways, nobility, police, firemen and so on used them back then.
    Here some of my examples;

    Are you interested in Soviet brass buttons from the uniform of railway worker? Once I saw it at my friend's place and even took a photo as it looks unusual (for me). I often take photos if I see something unusual. If you want I can check with her if she still has it.

    Is it only Brass examples you are interested in? I have a bag full of vintage and antique buttons that I purchased as a job lot. In amongst them are a very large collection of uniform buttons (well over 100 pieces) which are gold coloured metal, but definately not brass. If your interested I will dig them out and upload some pics?

    I'd be interested in any that are Statue of Liberty or Spirit of St. Louis.

    Hello, and sorry for replying this late.
    I only collect brass (a few are silver colored...) buttons that are linked to uniforms.
    A bus driver use to wear a uniform too.
    Generaly they are ornated with symbols and accompanied with letters or (compagny...)names.

    Just remember to give any WW2 UK military button a twist to see if you have a rare compass hidden inside. These fetch very good money. Twist left and right as the Germans got wise to these and so the thread was changed.

    You are welcome to some of these Firmin, London, buttons, which Firmin says are "Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers with a Kings crown (George VI). It is a standard regimental button, made from base metal". I'll send a few your way if you want them and postage isn't too scary. Need a polish. P1080030.jpg
