Featured Breton Wooden Figures

I couldn’t resist these even though I had no idea what they are. They stand 35cm tall and are unsigned.

Searches suggest that they are Breton and my feeling is that they are antique.

Can anyone tell me anything about them?

Thanks for that Charlie. I didn’t see them when I searched. I paid £113 for mine so hopefully there will be a profit in them.

 

I've not seen those before but I'm surprised how many similars can be found on the internet. That said, yours are particularly nice. Here's a nicely carved single ( female) figure from a French dealer.

I can't see the woman's hat very well, but the costume looks to be from somewhere near Pont Aven.

 

I want the secret sauce that 1stdibs puts on their offerings that gets them 10 times what any sane shopper would pay-'rich person brain-fever' of some kind ?
Aint' happening in my lil' neighborhood-most are even cheaper than me !

Putting them side by side, or at least closer, shows the differences a bit easier - at least for me! I copied John's image and lightened the
inside of the woman's hat in case it might have helped @Any Jewelry...
