@Van_Poperin , The flower frog piece has just arrived. Thank you, I love it! It took only a little more than two weeks to get here (from UK to US), and you safely packed in lots of bubble wrap. I do appreciate it.

There is a tactile quality to this piece that I love. It is a little smaller than I had thought, and the curves of it fit my hand in a way that seems so natural and flowing... I've held it several times in the few minutes since I opened the package.

Don't know what I'll do with it, except that I'll find a place to display it and touch it. Thank you again!

 

Thanks for this link, OBB! I just realized that the mark of this particular piece is not included here. However, the page gives a clue as to age, I think.
"Month and Year of manufacture were sometimes included
for example "3 43" is March 1943"

This piece has what looks like 8 39, so perhaps manufactured in August 1939?

I don't see why it wouldn't be that date. It's a nice thing, too.
