Bronze Chinese Dragon - Old or a copy?

Hi again, ive got another item that I would love an expert opinion on. Its a bronze dragon that I picked up at an auction. To me it looks old but I can see similar looking bronzes on Alibaba. Is there any way to tell?? Thanks

 

It doesn't look old to me, but it is very cute. I love dragons.
Could we see the bottoms of the feet?

 

Yeah I like it too. Here's a photo, i scratched it with a knife to see what the metal is underneath the Patina and it looks yellow so I guess bronze or brass rather than cast iron? Thanks

 

There is no natural wear on the feet, so it is very new.

Yes, these are usually cast brass.
It is best not to scratch metals that could possibly be old or antique. Damage on antiques lowers the value signifcantly. If you want to know if something is iron, you can simply use a magnet.
