Bronze or copper Lincoln statue

    I have spent many many hours and days trying to find more about this Lincoln statue with a portion of the Gettysburg Address curtisively written below it. The statue dimensions are 2 1/4" x 1" x 4 1/4". I would like to know the type of metal and maker. Is this an end of a pair book end. Thank you for assistance in this request. Rob

    I doubt it's a bookend by the size, just looks like a figurine.

    I am going to guess that the figure is bronze, although the rectangular base could be copper through and through.

    It may have been a paperweight. It is hard to tell without the base.

    I believe what you see - is the entire base.

    Oh, I see... when I saw it from the bottom it seemed unfinished so I thought it had been attached to something else at some time.
