Brooch - painted porcelain?

    Just wanted to get some thoughts on this. I am assuming it is early 1900's time frame. I know it may be hard with the pics, but is this a known artist kind of thing? I am assuming it is italian.

    I didn't want to over polish the front, and honestly, I didn't put a ton of effort on the back, I just wanted it to kind of match the front :)

    There is, I figured it was a street artist so really didn't bother trying to get a photo of it when it was out of the frame. I am shutting down for the week as we are headed out of town - this is my final post.... if you'd like me to remove it from the frame, photo and post, I'll be happy to do that when I get back into town.

    Are you sure that it is done on paper? I think that it looks like ivory or celluloid possibly. I see a grain or texture to the background. i'm no expert by any means but if it is ivory, you might run into problems selling it.
