Featured buddha carving help

    hi guys

    found this in a charity shop today. i usually stay away from this sort of thing, but couldnt resist the beautiful face

    measures 6 1/2 inches

    have no idea if its modern or what its carved from

    was £5 so doesnt matter if its rubbishy

    any help appreciated

    Love it, Charlie . I was surprised to see it was stone. For some reason it reminds me of carvings you see from Africa ,maybe its the stone. I love religious iconagraphy even though Im not religious in the least .

    thanks buddy, yeah it seems better than the other ones i see, quite tactile and smooth as well
