Hello everyone, I ask for help from the forum participants. Can you please recommend a good expert (specialist) on Buddhist sculptures?

Or maybe someone from the forum participants understands this (then please write me a private message)?

Thank you in advance for your help.

As above. The best way to start is with a photo.

Welcome again Paris. Should you choose to fully share the phurba with us-can you include photos of all sides (include bottom) and dimensions (height, width). Also tell us history of your Buddha sculpture.
    Thanks again.

Paris has posted on Antiquers before.
If he'd rather not share his photos with the rest of the world, he can post his query in the General Forum, which is members only.

Phurba was found in 1983 in Mongolia near the city of Arvaikheer. There was a military base in the city. Found in a desert area. I would be glad to receive any information about the phurba.
Thank you all for your help.

A very beautiful piece. Even though there is no face, but based on the jewellery, the slightly plump arms, and elegance of the hands I would say Zanabazar School. It is very expressive, which is typical of the style. The works of other Mongolian schools are more static looking.

The Zanabazar School was a 17th century revival of earlier styles, founded by an excellent sculptor by the name of Zanabazar.
Zanabazar style bronzes were also made after the 17th century.

I was figuring a real Scholar might comment on that ! (I say that with real respect). There's a few folks who still open actual books.
PS-Will say though,AI has a narcotic seductiveness about it (help:bag:).
PSS-Paris,you've got some amazing pieces-thank you.

Thank you very much for your reply. It is sad that the item was damaged like that and there should be six hands, but two were knocked off.. There is an inscription on the back of the item, as they say in Tibetan, if you noticed. The inscription was translated as northeast

Maybe there will be more opinions about this item? The size of the phurba in this condition is 23 cm.
