    Hello,
    I’ve been trying to find out info on what I believe to be a buffet that came with a house I purchased. Any ideas? 4A82AE8C-C226-490B-A427-1120E2A55D78.jpeg 47C5D8DE-6E77-42B2-872C-1B02B89DDEDF.jpeg 70058776-523B-448F-B287-B5CEECA6F28E.jpeg B314C19D-0A38-4AD2-A678-186F1F3BFE2B.jpeg

    Hi KMorris!

    Welcome to Antiquers.............:cat:

    I'd call it a Sideboard, but that may not be correct. Wait for the furniture people to comment.

    @verybrad...........

    I can't seem to tag Grasshopper.......must not have the name correct.

    It looks to be in wonderful condition.

    I'd keep it if it were me.

    Foolish previous house owners! Why in the world would you leave such a stylish oak buffet behind?

    Yeah, this is the oak version from TallCakes' link, ca. 1910. Nice strapwork hinges and Craftsman carving. Would expect to see this go for around $2K or more at auction in my part of the Midwestern U.S. But I'd keep it!

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    The ONLY thing I see possibly "detrimental" to this piece is it might be too large!!!!! Sure hope you can find a place for it.....it's GORGEOUS!!! And beautifully DONE! :)
    OH, AND WELCOME to ANTIQUERS!!:happy::happy:

    Ditto what the others said. Nice English arts and crafts sideboard. I am way jealous ;)

    Turned and lightened a bit.

    I see strap hinges on the one TallCakes posted but not on yours.

    Amazing piece! Congrats
    If I weren't so far away, I'd be tempted to make you an offer on it.

    Wiscbirddog is right, I stand corrected. Otherwise it looks to be identical.
