Burnt Orange 2 Handle Pot Need Help with Mark

This pot stands 8" tall and has 2 handles. Cool drippy glaze. The bottom is marked CA AL. I can see remnants of a letter in the middle. Any ideas?

 

Here is one with the same mark. I can't read the description on that eBay page, it is too far to the right side and won't scroll sideways for me. If they say what the mark says, I can't see it.

Well, did they tell you what that ink stamp mark is supposed to be?

 

Ink stamp is suppose to be Canal..This came from the author of a NC Pottery book.
