Butterscotch Amber-Colored Beads - Bakelite? Faturan?

I purchased this necklace at an antique shop. I paid a bit more than I would have liked, but something about this rings a bell to me... The beads have no seam marks, and instead have signs that they were worked by hand (faint concentric lines). They have faint marbling and lighter, more transparent areas. The bead holes are larger on one side than the other. I would think they were bakelite, except some of the smaller beads have these strange almost crimped lines around the edges...

Those look like tool marks. Not molded. What do they do under a blacklight?

I don't have a blacklight available, so I unfortunately have no idea... I'll buy one and find out.
It's quite heavy at around 70-75 grams.
